Dear Perspective Vendor:
The Carolina Cup Regatta will be held on Saturday, June 9 and Sunday June 10, 2007 on
the Waterfront in Elizabeth City, NC. This family fun event will include 2 days of
powerboat racing, food, crafts and games for kids of all ages. Last year’s event brought
in 5,000 to 6,000 people in attendance. This year we are adding vendors to the event to
attract more families. Our goal is to keep this event growing each year, while adding
more attractions to the event.
Food and craft vendors are needed to enhance the Carolina Cup
Regatta’s atmosphere. Booth rentals will be $100.00 for a 10’ x 10’ space and $150.00
for a 10’ x 20’ for the 2 day event. Electricity will be available for an additional cost of
$20.00 per booth. Booths will be located at Waterfront Park and Mariners Wharf. The
Dog Corner Fry Hut is also available for rent to non-profit groups only. The rent for the
Fry Hut will be $175 a day for Saturday or Sunday. The Carolina Cup Regatta Committee
is required by the City of Elizabeth City to secure a festival license for all “for-profit”
vendors, for an additional $15.00 charge. Non-profit organizations and merchants with a
City of Elizabeth City current privilege license are exempted from this fee. The Carolina
Cup Regatta has the exclusive rights to sell all beverages during the event to help fund
the Carolina Cup Regatta; No other group may sell beverages of any kind.
Please complete the enclosed application and return with your check as soon as
possible. Booth spaces will be assigned on a first come-first serve basis. If you have
any questions or require additional information, please call Lauren Hill at 252-312-9945 or
252-264-5423. You will be notified of acceptance along with other pertinent information
by mail or email prior to the event by June 1, 2007.
