| The Carolina Cup Regatta is a nonprofit community event. The Carolina Cup Regatta committee works year round to make this event an exciting and unforgettable experience. The event provides an exciting and unforgettable weekend of boat competition on the beautiful Pasquotank River. |
The Third Annual Carolina Cup Regatta brings together many nationally-recognized powerboat
racers as well as area racers for two thrill-packed days of racing.
The excitement of the Regatta's fast boats and the family-oriented festival atmosphere will have all
sorts of people turning their heads towards Elizabeth City in June. The weekend will attract boat and
water enthusiasts both old and new! Race officials anticipate exceeding last year's estimated crowd
of more than 7,500 attendees as the sights and sounds draw people from near and far.

| The purpose of The Carolina Cup Regatta, Inc. (Nonprofit Corporation) shall be to promote boating safety through a variety of activities and educational programs in Northeastern North Carolina: to promote an interest in powerboat racing; to encourage good sportsmanship; to provide enjoyable competition; to promote safe family fun; and to demonstrate boating safety by promoting powerboat racing in NORTH CAROLINA. We are a member of the American Power Boat Association (APBA). |
