The heat was unreal but the racing was great!!!! The past did come alive when Vintage Race Boats from the '40s to the '80s joined today’s Inboard Hydroplanes, Jersey Speed Skiffs, and Junior Class for kids, and raced on the Pasquotank River in Elizabeth City, N.C. for the 3rd annual Carolina Cup Regatta. Saturday and Sunday, June 7th and 8th, 2008. |
| License plates can be purchased from the Museum of the Albemarle gift shop, Chamber of Commerce office, or Pasquotank County Tax Collector's office for $8.00. |

| Tuesday, August 5, 2008 Will be participating in National Night Out Downtown Elizabeth City 6:00pm to 9:00pm Tuesday, September 2, 2008 Time: 7:00pm We will be meeting in the Commissioner's Room in the Pasquotank County courthouse on Main Street, Elizabeth City. Please come in the front door of the courthouse. The room is located on the ground floor down the center hallway. |
